UAV project

Hello everyboby,

I’m newbie in UAV building. :frowning:

I read your topic : "Comment fabriquer un drône’ (robotshop.com/blog/fr/robots … r-un-drone) Very well !!

I’ve written a list of components for my future UAV, an hexacopter but I’m not sure that all components I need are there.

I’ve forgotten to say that I’m beekeeper and the drone I want to build is to find and destroy Asian Hornet Hive that do ravage to bee hive in France.
My future UAV need to climb up to 30m and this payload need to be 2.5kg, 3kg average.

My list :

or instead of the FlySky fs-i6 and the OpenPilot CC3D Flight Controller Bent Pin STM32 32-bit Flexiport :
Cc3d révolution mini-combo op télémétrie radio Oplink de contrôleur de vol GPS OSD carte de distribution de puissance
banggood.com/fr/CC3D-Revolut … 19051.html

Can you say me if it’s right or if need others components ?

For the structure I found plan of a hexacopter on Internet.
Sincerely

Cédrik

Hi Cedrik,

A 3kg payload is quite high but nothing can’t be done.
All those items are from Banggood, would like us to give you a list of RobotShop / Lynxmotion products instead ?

Hello,

Sorry to reply now. I’m too overbooked :frowning:

I go and see RobotShop / Lynxmotion products to do a new list.

We would suggest another Motor & ESC & Prop combo which will give you a better flying experience. But this is for a Quadcopter (which would be a good start for you)
If you get the T-Motor AIR 350 Multirotor Kit it will be less expensive than getting all the individual parts like you selected and will have a better setup.

The IdeaFly 10 000mAh battery is way to big for the size Motor/Propeller you are looking at. We would suggest a battery around 3000-4000mAh.
11.1V, 2500mAh 30C LiPo Battery
11.1V, 3500mAh 30C LiPo Battery
11.1V, 3200mAh LiPo Battery w/ Star Plug

Flight controller, transmitter and power distribution board are all good.
The RadioLink AT9 is a very nice programmable radio too.

Hello DiaLFonZo

Thanks for you reply and for your advices.
I’ll continue to think about my project and increase my knowlegde before to begin to buy components.
