Hello

Which Battery does the Hunter VTail 400 Quadcopter T-Motor (VT4B1-KT) use? The BAT-07 or the BAT-08?

Hi Regor,

The suggested battery for the VTail 400 would be the 3s LiPo 2800mAh.
It can either be ordered from Lynxmotion as BAT-07 or RobotShop RB-Kow-06
Lynxmotion 11.1V 2800mAh 3S 30C LiPo Battery
11.1V (3S), 2800mAh 30C LiPo Battery Pack

Thank You for your quick response. I received two RB-Kow-06 batteries from Robotshop in just a week. I read in the Forum that you use
eCalc - xcopterCalc. I wonder if you could Post the eCalc Inputs for a Hunter VTail 400 (T-Motor.) It wants the Battery Cell
Resistance in ohms
C-Rate (C cont and C max)
and Battery Weight in grams

The resistance is not available from the manufacturer.
C-Rate is 30 constant and around 40 burst.
Weight is 226g

Which Battery does the Hunter VTail 400 Quadcopter T-Motor (VT4B1-KT) now use?
I cannot find the RobotShop RB-Kow-06 battery on their website. Do you have to buy
from Lynxmotion or will one of the RB-Sta batteries work.

Here are some battery we have for the VTail 400:
11.1V, 2500mAh, 30C LiPo Battery
11.1V, 3000mAh, 40C 3S LiPo Battery (you will need an adapter for this one: Deans to XT60 Adapter Cable)
11.1V, 3500mAh, 30C LiPo Battery

Hi Regor,

Are you looking for the number of cells (s) or the capacity rating © ?
All the batteries suggested above are 11.1V so 3s.

Thanks. I meant 3s. My iMAX B6AC Battery Charger
always asks to verify that the battery is 3s before charging.
