I’m interested in this software for the pixhawk and would like to know how it compliments Mission Planner. I’m using an X8 for the purpose of mapping. I can see the benefit for DJI flight controllers but for Ardupilot, does it really improve upon Mission Planner or is it just a better User Interface?

The U|g|CS does use a nice interface but also have complex mission generation not available in Mission Planner.
You can take a look at their YouTube channel for some nice video about their software ugcstv.

The version he’s demonstrating is Pro and the features he’s promoting is the ability to plan for 3 different f/c which is beneficial for fleet management but in all honesty would be a nightmare.
I’m currently only using Ardupilot and Mission Planner. UGCS has it’s merits, just want to make sure it’s not something that would benefit a DJI user by giving them MP waypoint functionality.
