TX/RX - DC/SC - Pos/Neg Shift

Hi guys, been having a problem with setting up an RC setup.

I have a Hitec Laser 6ch Transmitter / positive shift 35mhz
also a Hitec supreme series 7ch Dual conversion (HFD-07RA) Receiver 35mhz
im using tx/rx DC crystals 35.020mhz channel 62

i cannot get a connection.

Can anyone confirm if the HFD-07RA Receiver is positive shift. i cannot find any info anywhere.
also does anyone notice any other problems?

Battery’s are full.

Hi Jonny,

I am not the RC expert, but I wonder if your crystals are correct? When I did a search on your receiver, I found some people had issues that way, like with this post: rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10148 … ntable.htm

Kurt

same page i pulled up.

im sending its off tonight anyway to see what the problem might be.
cheers.

in the mean time id like to hear of any other info on problems like this.

i spoke with Hitec and they have said The Laser 6 that i have is a Negative shift transmitter, and they have never made a Positive shift only transmitter.
Transmitters are neither DC or SC.

DC crystals will have a blue stripe on the paper tag that is attached to the crystal, SC crystals will have a green stripe.
The crystal i have is DC as its written on the tag but it has an orange tag! (Futaba crystal)
I might need to see about getting a Blue striped one (Hitec).

you might have been right Kurt.

Ha, I get lucky sometimes!
