Please post some closeup images of the SSC-32 so I can verify the jumper settings.
The image was emailed to me. It illustrated that the VL = VS1 jumper was left installed. This essentially shorted the 9vdc battery to the 6vdc wall pack. This depleted the 9vdc battery in short order, making it a poor power supply. So the SSC-32 powered only by the 6vdc wall pack was resetting over and over.
