Turning a shaft to precise angular positions

Hello, I am considering the CubeMars AK60-6 DC motor for a project. We want to use an arduino code to turn a shaft to specific angular positions presicely and quickly. For the controls, an arduino uno REV3 and can-bus shield will be used. Would this setup make sense for the intended use?
