Will the mechanics of the litter robot be able to handle a cat that digs right to the bottom of the box, urinates and doesn’t always cover? We are very interested in purchasing one but we don’t know if our cat would cause it to become all gummed up or not empty properly due to the way she uses her box?! Any input would be welcome!
There should not be any issues with how your cat urinates. The litter will have time to absorb the urine in the 7 minute wait time. And then the absorbed Litter will be eliminated in the waste drawer. If ever there is some left inside, it will be eliminated on the next cleaning cycle. The litter-box will still be much cleaner than a traditional litter-box.
A robot created using servo/stepper motor with a digital onboard with right microcontrollers will help.
