Hi there.
I have never worked electronics before and my project requires two lynxmotion motors to be connected to one battery source.
here is the motor we are using:

We have wires to connect the motor to the batteyr but I am confused how to atttach two motors to one battery. I there a circuit I can buy that allows everything to snap into it and work? Also, should the battery we use be 7.2 volts?
Thank you

Hello marilapi and welcome to the RobotShop Community forum.
In order to control the motors, you will need a DC motor controller. This would allow you to use an analog or PWM signal to determine the motor’s speed.
If you would like to simply turn them ON and OFF, then two simple switches should do the trick.
Simply connect the battery ground (GND or “-” ) to one of the motors leads , and then connect the other motor lead to a switch. Finally connect the other end of the switch to the battery positive lead ("+"). You can repeat this for the other motor in order to have them both wired.
