Truck 3 chan. RC transmit. with Sabertooth 2x10 RC hookup?

Friends:

I am working on a Lynxmotion Rover with a Sabertooth 2x10 R/C. I have a Futaba radio for trucks that has three channels. The kind that has a “steering wheel” knob to control a front wheel steering linkage servo. on one channel, a and a throttle with another servo on the next channel. Can this transmitter be used to drive the Sabertooth 2x10 R/C? If so how would I hook it up?

You plug the Sabertooth Throttle plug into the throttle socket in the receiver. And the steering plug into the steering socket ont he receiver. Usually channels 1 and 2. You may have to use a servo in each channel to determine which is steering and which is throttle.
