Trouble with choosing right gear motor

Hi,
I would like to ask you a technical question. I would like to build an outdoor robot myself and I am looking for a gear motor to my robot. It should be something around 12V, 120rpm, and with high torque … power should be something around 110W. The robot will have a total mass about 20 - 30kg, wheels diameter 0,33m and it will be powered by the auto battery (12V). It will be the 4-wheel outdoor robot so I do not know if I use the 2 or 4 gear motors.

@ondra_maser Welcome to the RobotShop Community. This tutorial and corresponding tool were made specifically to address such questions:

The choice of using two or four gear motors is really up to you, but if you plan to use skid steering, four is better than two.

Once you get results from the tool, you’ll likely need to consider four planetary gear motors:
