I built a trick switch using Make's basic Arduino Projects bookelt the other day, and I'm running into a problem.
When I press the button for the first time, the light comes on, but does not go off unless I remove the wire from pin2. I can also remove and discharge the capaciter too, which will make the light go off, but otherwise the capaciter remains charged. The light also stays on if the capaciter is fully removed, though it dims to about 3/4. I've checked the illustration several times and am matching it literally to the T. I've tried multiple surfaces (in case something is closing the ciruit.), but everything gives the same result. I've even tried different pins in the case the ones I was using were faulty. Is there a chance I have a wire somewhere odd, or perhapse the special edition of the board has some odd clavats? Image attatched.
