I have been buidling a Wild Thumper based robot that is coming along nicley it is contolled via I2C from an Arduino Uno talking to a T'rex Robot Controller. The Wild Thumper chasis I have has encoders on the middle set of motors I thought it would be good experience to try and get these working to control the speed of the robot. The T'rex documentation says use digital pins D5 & D6 for the encoders however the encoders have 4 wires and I am not sure how to connect them to the T'rex controller. Any advise would be most helpfull I have tried google but am stil none the wiser.
