Tracked vehicle

Hello,

I would like to build the compact tracked vehicle that is capable of handling different kinds of terrain and obstacles.
I want it to be controlled manually and will incorporate video cameras with live feed to the user.
I guess i will use Beckhoff PC to control electronics.
However, i dont know what to buy for remote control via joystick which is compatible with Beckhoff environment.
I though about connecting transmitter to arduino and then connect arduino to beckoff, but i am not sure wheather i will work.
So, could you please recommend me a transmitter?

I don’t think there is an absolute answer here.
Personally have no knowledge of the Beckhoff but you should look at what kind of “input” it will take.

Then your idea of making an Adapter with an arduino might work
