My 9-year-old son decided to assemble his first robot and we have some questions regarding the motor.
Robot base approximate parameters are
Length 80cm
Wide 50cm
Track wide 8cm
Weight 50 kg
Speed 4-5 m/s
Which brushless dc motors (2 fwd) are suitable for this?

We suggest using this tool to estimate the torque the motors will need:
As the weight is towards the heavier side it is very likely you’ll need Gear Motors.
Also, since you mentioned it is your son’s first robot we recommend checking the “How to Make a Robot” tutorial series
