I am designing a robot for a competition but one of the biggest constraints is weight, it is limited to 1kg. I would like to use the lynx track system but I am not sure of how much they weight. I need to know the weight of each link of track, sprockets, hubs and all related hardware for the track system to work. I will apreciate any help.

The shipping wight is 0.54 lbs for 21 links… It should be pretty close to that.
2" wide track unit: 10g per link
small sprocket: 9g per half
large sprocket: 19g per half
HUB-11 center: 9g each
Bearing for hub: 1g each
The tread hinge pieces (one plastic rod and two snap rivets per joint) are less than a gram per set.
The 3mm screws for the hubs are around 1 gram each.
A Sabretooth 2x5 is 19 grams. Don’t know if you plan to use that controller or not, but I had one handy when the scale was out.
