Hi have a nomad 883 pro and was wondering if the touch probe would work on it.

Are you asking if the Carbide3D Shapeoko Touch Probe is compatible with the Nomad 883 Pro? If you are then I believe the answer is yes.
The only thing mentioned in the specs of the touch probe is that in order to use it, you must upgrade to Carbide Motion v4 and GRBL 1.1. You can find more information in the following links:
I also found this assembly guide that applies to versions of the Carbide Motion boards shipped with Shapeoko: 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4d, 2.4e. In case you don’t know which version you have you will have to remove the cover from your controller to identify the model number (you can find more info about this in the assembly guide).
