Normally, I am very handy but I cannot get neither controller for the Titan Tank set that I bought for my Grandsons to work. I have been over and over the instructions but the final test, red LED does not work. Do others have a problem here? The design seems to have a flaw where the connection is generated by physical contact of the PC board and a bent tab from the battery pack. Did the manufacturer make a “work around” here?

Are you using rechargeable batteries by any chances ?
Those controller have proven to be problematic with the lower voltage of rechargeable.
If so, try with normal non rechargeable batteries.
