Timing pulley/coupler/shaft for servo

Hello all, new user here.

I’m looking to get a little help with finding the right servo attachment parts for a project I’m working on. The servo in question is a no-name, high torque model, so I don’t know a whole lot about its physical properties other than the fact that it has a 25T plastic spline.

I’m looking to find answers to the following:

A.) What would I need in order to attach a timing pulley to it? So far my guess is something like this:

Servo spline -> shaft coupler -> shaft -> timing pulley

Is this correct? I’ve seen pulleys that attach to the servo spline directly like a standard horn, but I would rather have the ability to extend outward with a shaft, as indicated.

B.) Does name brand matter in this case? Are 25T spline connections pretty standard across manufacturers?

Thanks for any insight!

Most of the servos out there with 25T splines are Futaba brand splines.
If that’s the case, you can get the Lynxmotion MXL servo pulley here:
Lynxmotion Servo MXLS-02 Timing Belt Pulley - 32 Tooth (Futaba)

Here are two MXL belts:

25" MXL Timing Belt

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and for the belt links as well, DiaLFonZo! I was originally thinking I might want to go with a coupler/shaft assembly for the pulley, but this direct-to-spine pulley might actually work out better with the new plan I am going with. Much appreciated!
