Thymio Robots with Chromebooks

Hi!

I am interested in purchasing the Thymio robot for our schools. How well does the Thymio Robot work with Chromebooks? We use primarily Chromebooks. In reading the information regarding Thymio it specifies a download of software for windows, macs or linux. Will the lack of a computer present a problem for programing Thymio?

Hey,

It looks like the Thymio software (Aseba Studio) is not compatible with ChromeOS.

While it is possible to use the basic features of the Thymio without having to use a computer (obstacle avoiding, sound control, hand following, etc.) you will not be able to program it without a PC.
