This quadrotor is the best flying robot I have ever seen. Just watch the videos, you will be amazed by its great Maneuverability, and all the cool things it can do :)

IR Cameras

I don’t know if it mentions it in the films, but they use IR cameras that are mounted around the room for localization. Thats what those red lights are. It would be even more impressive if they could do something like this with onboard sensors!

The guys that do this work have published a nice article all about it in the IEEE Robotics and Automation Magazine. If you have a IEEExplore access, search for “The Grasp Multiple Micro-UAV Testbed”.
