I was inspired by the Adafruit Open Kinect bounty to offer a bounty of my own for hacking the Neato Robotics XV-11’s lidar system. It’s a low cost, 360 degree, lidar system that will be awesome for robotics - once it’s hacked. There’s currently a $800 bounty for doing it. You can find more details here:
