I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering.
Finding the brand name of robot that was dubbed as being the most powerful 6X6 at the time. It was an English made product I think. It had videos and pictures on the website that showed the robot carrying a single stack of very thick telephone books. The website had a break down of all the different parts that could be used to build the 6X6 or 4X4 robot chassis. Most of the parts were commercial off the shelf and readily available from most on-line robotic parts vendors except for the chassis which were designed by this company. I do remember the motor controller of choice for the high end kit was the “RoboClaw” 60 Amp dual controller. You had the option of purchasing a fully assembled kit or a DIY kit.
I am trying to find the company name, product line and their website to see if they are still in business.
AudioVOX,
Thank you for the response!
I do believe it was a British company or organization that was offering the parts and kits on their website. I recall the price list being in pounds. The prices were rather expensive but below the one that you sent me. It was a rectangular platform, two or three layers that could accommodate the Raspberry Pi or Arduino, multiple battery packs and additional boards to run arms or cameras and other accessories. The website had pictures and a video of the 6X6 moving with a tall stack of thick telephone books on it. It did not have any kind of suspension. There were six separate motors, one at each wheel fixed directly to the chassis via a common motor mount with nuts and machine screws. Thank you again for the response. I shall continue my quest.
