The last mile of my Phoenix........HELP!

Hi all masters:

I finally received my Phoenix, and had already assemblied.
I almost got there, but get stuck at the last procedure.
On SSC-32, I updated the FW called V2.04GP (the version is shown in the terminal when I typed “ver”).
On BB2, I programed the “phoe2ps2” code downloaded from website.
The setup of BB2 board is shown in below picture.
I use a Turnigy 2 cell Li-Po battery as my power source, and a Turnigy BEC for 6V output for SSC-32.
First, I turned on the power of my PS2 controller, and then turned on the power of Phoenix.
I can hear a beep sound while power on.
The phoenix kept at the position of neutral, as the position after calibration.
And then…stay still…
No matter what buttons I pressed, it remains still at the neutral position.
The beeper will beep when I pressed the buttons of PS2 controller.
The red light of PS2 wireless reveiver remains lighting.
It seems that the command from PS2 controller to BB2 board is OK.
I checked the green LED on SSC-32 board. It’s always blinking.
Looks like there are data transmitting from BB2 to SSC-32(even no button pressed).
The Phoenix just don’t move…

Can anybody help me out of here??
I want my spider alive~~~!!!

Thanks a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooot!!!

What baud rate is the SSC-32 set for?

Hi Jim:

Many thanks!!
After modifying the baud rate jumper on SSC32 form 115.2K to 38.4K, it starts to move!!!
What amazing~~
I’ll try to play around the pre-build sequence.
Thanks a loooooooooooot!! :slight_smile::slight_smile:

I wish they were all that easy… :stuck_out_tongue:

Good job on the build.
