Well considering that there are a lot of robots involved in war, I would say humanity is not obeying these laws anymore :slight_smile:

Interesting subject. Valid? Yes. Will be applied? No. Not sure I’d consider “robots” which are used in wars the type which have enough onboard intelligence to understand these three laws which require significant AI.

I do think this is a great topic for discussion, especially given the current level of “intelligence” of robotics. I am unsure how a self-driving car would react in most situations where the outcomes of any decision are negative (forced to decide whether to injure the occupants of the vehicle or pedestrians for example).
