Hi i was wondering what is a simple, free terminal to use with the DFrobotshoproverV2. Hyperterminal worked well but it costs 60$, thanks!

There are plenty of options. Internally, we use Putty and CoolTerm quite often for various tests.
You can also use the “Serial Monitor” of the Arduino IDE with any device, not just Arduino’s.
