Bought a Syren 10 motor, and is not working. Know I have the setup correct as substituted exact same siren model from another builder and all worked perfectly. So either its a bad unit from factory, or some strange firmware. Can anyone help?

Did you purchase it from the RobotShop website?
I spent the better part last week troubleshooting a Sabertooth drive from Dimension Engineering (SyRen 10 manufacturer). After a volley of troubleshooting tickets they offered to RMA the unit for testing. I would definitely reach out to them:
