Synchronizing Multiple ArduCAM MT9M001 Camera Modules

I am wondering if two or more of the ArduCAM MT9M001 module can be synchronized using I2C?

I want to build a multi camera system for a PoC of a self-driving go-kart but with an affordable price tag.

I believe it is possible but you will need 2 adapter board.
