Suggest a fast Arduino

I need a fast microcontroller for mixing 5 PWM signals and outputing 3PWM signals
for use on a combat robot. This signal mixing would use a lookup table and basic
math operations. The Arduino on a Lilypad is the only microcontroller that I have used.
Could you suggest a microcontroller that is easy to use and is fast reacting?

Hi RBARON,

If you want to be able to quickly adapt to a new microcontroller, you may simply want to upgrade to the Arduino MEGA. If you want something faster, consider the Maple 32-bit Microcontroller or Uno32. There are of course many possible microcontrollers, so responses here are largely based on opinion. If you have specific requirements (clock speed etc.) we may be able to suggest produits which are even better suited.
