I stole/scavenge my son rc car attached the remote to the pc parallel port with a pnp transistor,I put an IP-CAM on it ,and controlled the all thing with a C# application.

Nifty!

Neat project! POV in an RC car seems like a really great idea. If you wanted to add a head-mounted display (possibly with pan/tilt servo controls), I’ve seen at least one video where a Virtual Reality headset was combined with a tilt/pan camera, so that the camera followed head movement. There’s some chatter on an RC forum about this type of thing too (http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=13846108), FYI.
