Stepper or Servo, that's the question

Hi there to all!

I am rather new in the diy robot scene, and I mostly work with the arduino (uno, mega) boards.
I would like to make a robot that draws some predefined shapes on a piece of paper on the ground surface,
and I believe that for this purpose precise control is a must, but now, I thought to use stepper motors for this
but then I read that for example the cube servos can do multi turn and I think I can control their movement precisely so here is the question to the experienced people over there…
Should I go with the steppers? or maybe try the servos? (cube servo for example)

thanks for your help.

Steppers or DC gear motors with encoders would be the way to go. Stepper motors would give you better accuracy (especially geared stepper motors) though they are harder to program.
