Stepper or brush motor for my robot

I need help with choosing the motors type of my robot.
I need torque of 5 N.m as rpm is 15 rev/min
The robot weight is 25kg

Also the speed of the robot will be v = 0.1 m/s

Also is important to me that the robot must make very precise movements.

I wonder between stepper or brush motor?

Hey @Manev99

If you want very precise movement, then stepper motors are very good at that.

However, you can also get very precise movement with brushed DC motors with an encoder, although they will never be as precise as stepper.

Thanks for the response.
Unfortunately in robotshop they don’t have the motor with that torque and rpm. Do you Know where I can find the motors with that specs

Hey @Manev99

You won’T be able to find a motor with those exact specifications. You can control the speed of a stepper very precisely, so you could just find a motor with higher RPM and torque and simple drive it slower.
