I am in a middle school vex IQ team. For the event, we need a stem project. our ideas are my 3d recycler, (already posted) a machine that can recycle spider webs allowing for stronger materials, and a generator that you attach to your bike to charge your phone. How can we design these? P.S. does anyone know how to make a circuit that produces tons of heat? thanks!

Recycling spider web, I have no idea how it could be possible since this would probably involve chemistry knowledge.
To generate electricity from a bicycle is much easier, it is called a Dynamo: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamo
You may use a small DC motor to produce electricity with the rotation of your wheel. Make sure you regulate this power to have a stable 5V or other voltage to charge your phone.
