I attended the 2010 Steampunk Worlds Fair in Piscataway, NJ.
This bot took first place at the Mad Science Contest.
Here is a less dramatic, but more in focus picture.
A couple of videos below show the robot in operation and the inventor describing it. He complained that it breaks down a bit too often, which it in fact did during the show. He got it up and running again after tearing apart a servo and replacing some stripped gears.
The bot has eight servos, and is basically a remote control puppet. The Wii controllers have an Arduino and XBee radio.
