standoffs

hi,
i am new… and i got a question…
is
Aluminum Hex Standoffs (F/F) - 1-15/16" x 1/4" (4-40 Tapped) (10)
same with
**4-40 x 1.875" aluminium .250" F/F Hex Spacer ?? **
cz i am searching for **4-40 x 1.875" aluminium .250" F/F Hex Spacer **
if its not the same… then where can i buy it??
i am from Malaysia…

Order from LM website, or file off 1/16"?

The 1-15/16" is 1.938" this is what we currently use in our kits. The 1-7/8" is 1.875" and is what we used to use in the kits. We have the 1-15/16" ones in stock.

so can i just use the 1-15/16" ??
i mean can it fit into the robot while the other standoff is the 1-7/8"?? because i just wanted to add-on 2 more standoff.
and which screw can fit into that standoff??

Should make them all the same!

then is there a way that i can get the 1-7/8" standoff since the LM didn’t sell it anymore?

We don’t sell them anymore, but I might be able to find a few… Are yours clear or black?

Are you good with a file? You could always file (or mill!) them off a little.

One of the first things (I’m told) an apprentice machinist learns is how to file things square and flat…

i had found another solution without using the standoff. thanks for the help

I just measured mine that I got in the Phoenix kit, it measured roughly 1.94" (my Calipers are a sucky brand).

When I looked at the Phoenix assembly instruction just to confirm it was 1-15/16", the instruction stated it was 1.875 (1-7/8").

Are the standoff from my Phoenix a 15/16 or a 7/8? I can’t resolve this close of a difference because my calipers really are horrible (time to invest in some good Mitutoyo).

We have been using 1-15/16" for several years now. I believe all the 1-7/8" ones were black anodized, but the longer ones are clear.

15/16 is .9375, that’s only .0025 off of your .94 measurement.
