Stacker Robot

Hi
I am planning on using the “Stacker” Robot for Science Olympiad this year. I am wondering what basic parts I need in order the run the robot.

It says in the description that we need certain parts to “finish” the robot, but are these necessary for the running of the robot, or do they just improve its performance?

Also, does it come with a battery/remote control or do those things need to be purchased as well?

The Stacker kit is a frame and wheels only. Battery and remote control are not included. Aside from the Stacker kit itself.

]1x Adapter cable (if necessary to connect the battery pack to the 0.1" spaced RC receiver pins)/:m]

Also, what do you suggest as a power source?

Also, what do you suggest I should use as a controller, as in the computer part that goes into the robot, and the necessary controller to go with the computer?

A 6V battery is ideal:

No adapter is needed, though you may need one between the charger and the battery as indicated above.

				   RC control is suggested (no microcontroller). Something like:
