I’ve just bought SSC32U from you.
when I try to run ServoSequencer it wouldn’t connect on “auto” at all.
when I manually assign com1 or com2 it lights up “found”,
but after two or three seconds it gives me an error message “Please cycle the power and try again”.
there is 9V power supply hooked up to it.
does it mean the board is defective?
thanx,
_h
Hi,
The SSC-32U is set to a baud rate of 9600 by default. To be able to connect, please follow these steps:
]Set the COM port to OFF./:m]
]Set the baud rate to 9600. If there is no baud in rate choice, activate the Bluetooth icon (it should be blue)./:m]
]Set the COM port to AUTO or the known COM port./:m]
At this point, the software should connect to the board within a few seconds and the found green light will stay lit.
You can also check the baud rate of your SSC-32U by pressing the BAUD button near the XBee socket / USB port. By default, only the green LED should blink rapidly for a few seconds, indicating a baud rate of 9600.
You can learn more about checking and changing the baud rate in the SSC-32U manual on page 34.
Sincerely,
thank you so much for your help.
