Ssc32u with trackskull

I have been sent here by nelson from track skull to see if there is a download for the ssc32u board to work with the trackskull program and a Logitech extreme3d pro joy stick…

I cant seem to get the board to work with vsa or trackskull.
I have done communication tests with trackskull and they seem to be working but I cant get the joystick to move the skull…

please help is there a download to upgrade or update the ssc32u if so please send me the link

Unfortunately we are not aware of the trackskull program and as such have not tested nor created any compatibility / software. We do not have any software for using the SSC-32U with a Logitech (nor do we have it here to test). Knowing there is a potential market, we’ll add it to our list of possible improvements.

Ok well i did get it to work and its a very old program so im shocked you havent heard of it. I had to download a patch from windows to recognize the usb to com port… There is a great potential to update this system to make the logitech extreme joy stick to move all aspects of the animatronic skull. Like 3 axis head movement, two axis eye movement, and jaw movement from one joy stick… You may want to look into it asap…

The SSC-32U on its own is not “intelligent” in that it needs to be sent commands from an external device (computer, microcontroller, wireless device). It would be up to that other device to be compatible with specific hardware. In this case since the Logitech is made for use with a computer, it would need to have intermediate software to read the Logitech’s input and take decisions as to what to do for the output. If it is the Trackskull program which most interests you for your application, it would be their software which would need to be updated for Logitech compatibility. We do have a program “FlowBotics Studio” which allows for custom graphical programming of the SSC-32U and it is directly compatible with the PS2 and XBox remote controls.
