i have bought an SSC32 and an usb to serial converter like this:

I would like use the ssc32 on osx with max msp but i don’t understand what driver i must install on my mac.
Is there someone can help me?

I am very rusty with Macs. Looking at your USB cable it uses a prolific chip set. I don’t know if the current Macs have built-in support for these or if there is some form of plug and play… You may want to look first at the website for your actual cable, or you may want to try one from the prolific web site: prolific.com.tw/eng/downloads.asp?id=31
As for the SSC-32, you do not need any drivers, you simply need to send text to the com port that is created for your serial converter
