Before to update my computer i worked with my ssc-32 with no problem using the port 10…but now,after installed windows 7 i can see my ssc with the Sequencer…i can choose port 1 and the program doesn’t detect ssc…
…where is the problem?..windows 7?
I read in that forum that windows 7 can’t be the problem…
I looked setting of jumpers…all is good…like the green led…the cable is the same…
But I only can choose COM 1…and i don’t detect the ssc…
I don’t understand where is the problem…
I use Prolific usb to serial comm port
A few months ago, I replaced my main computer with a new one that is now running 64 bit Windows 7 and I also use a USB to serial port with the prolific chipset. I believe I went up to the prolific website and downloaded their current driver and installed it. I am running driver version 3.3.11.152 and the file I downloaded was named: PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1210.zip. I unzipped the file.
At that point, I probably deleted the old device, ran the installer program from the zip file I mentioned above and then plugged the cable in… But it has been a few months, so I may have missed or added a few steps

I think that the problem is just the prolific driver!
I’ll try like u say me downloading the file that u indicate…i hope that is the way…
