SSC-32U Servos acting weird on connect

1850

Hi! I have SSC-32U (with jumper set to VS1)

lynxmotion.com/p-1032-ssc-32 … oller.aspx

Regulated Wall Pack - 6.0vdc 3.0amp
lynxmotion.com/p-753-regulat … 30amp.aspx and

and

Towerpro 995 servos
servodatabase.com/servo/towerpro/mg995

on a hexapod. Problem is when i have more than couple servos connected to controller and when i turn power on, servos are acting weird, doesn’t work and SSC-32U cant connect. What might be the problem?
I’m new to robotics. Here is video about the problem. streamable.com/kabh2

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Poor curent may be the problem (i mean Amps). Try a new 6V source with more amps (@least 10Amp)

Thank you, i’ll try that, i will post later if it worked. But i wonder if i want to make it work with batteries how will i do it? There’s no battery that gives such a high current? https://www.robotshop.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif

If you ha a batt with lets say 2000miliamps (2Amp) this means tha can deliver 2amps/h CONSTANT.
At burst (when you start ALL the servos) you need more.

So it is not possible to make it work with batteries? Or how you get more amps from batteries when starting servos?

Conect same voltage batteries in paralel.
eg. 2bateries 7.2V with 2Amp each, you will get 7.2 with 4Amp

Thank you from your help, this will help me to go forward with this project
