hi,
my ssc-32 ver 2.0 is not working when i send a command like this “#0 P1500” using the terminal the servo at 0 didn’t move. but D1 turned on and blink when i send a command.
i have this configuration in my ssc-32,
Baud Rate: 115.2K
VS1: 6.0V 1.5A
VL=VS1=VS2
DB9 Enable
i am using a Towerpro 9805BB a digital servo…
thank you.
Hard to tell from your description. In cases like this a picture would help.
Led blinks, says the SSC-32 is receiving some information, but it does not say it is getting valid data including the baud rate. Are both Baud rate jumpers installed? When you say terminal are you saying Lynxterm? If not I would try that. If your terminal program does not output a Carriage Return(CR) at the end of the line, the SSC-32 will not do anything.
First command I would try would be: ver
It should echo back the version number of the firmware that is running on the SSC-32. If you get a valid string back, you know that you have valid communications. If this works and still the #0 command does not work, I would try moving servo to another pin, like #16 and see if it works…
Good Luck
Kurt
HI,
sorry for that sir my ssc-32 is now working, and my servo moves from 600-2400 position. but when i send command for position at 2500 it doesn’t move to the specified position and doesn’t hold its position.
thank you
My guess this is normal, many digital servos have a smaller range than analog servos.
