I am attempting to control a Torxis RB-INS20 with a SSC-32 using the SSC-32 servo utility. I have the +/-12VDC connected to independent 12VDC power supplies. The SSC board is connected via USB. The signal lines for the arm are connected to pins 0-3, gnd and pulse. I have connected VL +/- to the 12VDC. Should the VL be 5VDC instead? What other connections are needed? I am not getting movement at the arm currently
Do you have the SSC-32 or SSC-32U? In either case, can you provide a few photos clearly showing the connections and label the wires? This will quickly allow us to more quickly spot any issues.
Also, which computer program are you using to control the SSC-32 and does your computer properly detect the board?
Computer detection was the trick, baud rates not matching. Thanks for the pointer.
