SSC-32 Programming Question

Hi, i’m new with this of the SSC-32, I have one SSC-32 and 5 sevos. I have the sequencer but I need to add a sensor to the arm I’m making, and the sequencer doesn’t have the option of managing the input pins.

I don’t know where to program the code, I don’t know what program to use.

If someone can help me I would appreciate it very much.

Thanks

The SEQ program will support inputs with the next updazte. It will be a while for this update though.

The first question is do you want the PC to send commands to the SSC-32, or do you want a microcontroller to do this?

Thanks for answering me.

Can I send the code to be stored on the ssc-32 controller (using only the ssc-32, not with another pic) ? That would be perfect.

Know I’ve done a robotic arm with servos and I can alrready move it with the SEQ and also using a batch (.bat file). But I want the arm to do a movement depending on the input (in this case a photoresistor, used to sensor the color of objects), but I don’t know where and how to make the code for that.

Other doubt I have is: how do I connect the sensor to de input?
The input I have is one with one cable powered with 5V, another cable that gives an output voltage from 0 to 5, and a cable to ground.

How do I connect this sensor to the ssc-32?

Thanks a lot for answering me. This arm I am making should be finished for the next Tuesday 20. So thanks again.

It would be easier to send signals to the ABB and have the ABB send commands to the SSC-32. You can use any of the i/o pins on the ABB board to read sensors.
