Hi,
I’m wondering how simple is to use either of those microcontroller in a C++ to send and receive commands to a AL5D robot arm, through USB serial port? I presume should be possible as long as USB driver is supplied?
Many Thanks
Allan

We offer two different electronics for the AL5D, one version with the BotBoarduino (Arduino based and the code is very similar to C), and the other with a dedicated servo controller called the SSC-32 / SSC-32U.
If you can have your computer always sending commands to the arm, you might try the version with the SSC-32U. The commands themselves are very straightforward (USB driver is FTDI).
