Hello guys,
I am having trouble mounting this motor on a flat base,
I found a method to mount using plates or L bars
Can u suggest more methods to mount motors like these?
Thanks
Note:
The screws cannot go through the back side
Hi @Octane663 !
Maybe you could use motor bracket that holds cylindrical part of the motor. Something like this: https://www.robotshop.com/en/makeblock-cnc-motor-bracket-blue.html
It looks like the raised round things around the shaft are for the purpose of mounting. Are they threaded internally? If so, then use an L-angle, or bend a piece of sheet metal, to form the L-angle type of shape. You will have to drill your own holes for the mounting screws.
If those raised things are not threaded, an alternative is to use the screws that hold the face plate onto the assembly. You may need to get longer replacement screws, and will need to drill clearance holes for the other raised areas.

Thanks Joe,
I have used L bars as clamps and reinforced them with bars to not bend.
