Spur Gears with Servo Motor

Good day all,

My project involves using a modified servo motor with shaft to spin a pinion, which will spin a spur gear that I have attached to a hanging load. I’m hanging something from the ceiling, so the weight of my project is supported by a hook. I would like to solder or glue a spur gear onto the brace that the hook feeds through, and then butt up the pinion gear to rotate the load.

My only constraint is my current support system. The hook feeds through a hole that is 7/16" and I will only have 1/8" of surface to adhere the spur gear to, therefore I will need a spur gear with a bore hole of approximately 1/2". I can always use a drill press if needed.

I can’t seem to find the right gear or the shaft for my servo.

I plan to run this project constantly for 12 hours a day. Like a rotating store sign! I appreciate any feedback or suggestions and if you have part suggestions that is even better.

Thank you for your time!
