Spektrum AR610 Binding

Hi,

I am trying to bind my Spektrum AR610 receiver to the Quadrino Nano, but without any luck (see picture). Is this a compatible receiver with the Quadrino Nano?

Thanks,

Hi bbdvip,

There are not “bind” proceadure between the Quadrino Nano and the receiver.
You just connect the wires on each needed channels as well as power.

Spektrum receivers will not show any lights until you open the matching Transmitter. Have you tried to open your transmitter ?

Yes, and the light goes solid indicating that it is bound to my transmitter. The Nano doesn’t seem to pick up any of the signals though. I was wondering what the Spektrum bind button is in the WinGUI?

Whoops, I was using Spektrum instead of Standard PCM. Re-flashed the Nano and everything is working now. Thanks!

Perfect, let us know if you need anything else.

I am still having trouble with the ar610 staying bound using the battery and nano. I had it working, but every time I switch between battery power and USB power, I lose the bind. Any suggestions? I am still using Standard PCM for my receiver.

Just to be sure, you loose the “bind” and need to re-do the binding process between the receiver and the transmitter ?
Or you just loose the communication when you switch the power options ? Is the Receiver powered in both situation ?

Good questions  Each time I switch between battery and USB power, the receiver begins to flash. I have had the transmitter both on and off when this happens to see if there is a difference. I have also power cycled the transmitter to see if this fixes it, but the receiver will not stop flashing. I have tried rebinding to another model channel, but soon after the same problem occurs.

Any suggestions?

I figured it out; per the instructions, the endpoints on my controller were not up high enough. This was causing the drone not to arm. Also, I finally got my GPS to work.

Thanks!

HaHa…
Nice that you found the problem. On a side note, you can ask your new question in the same topic, no need to create a new one each time.
