Product Code : RB-Pol-49
I was wondering if this product would work with a 10vdc supply?
Operating voltage is specified at 5.0 V
I would like to achieve a 0-10vdc variable output to a dc motor drive.
I have tried to locate a non contact product for over 12 months but they all seem to work on 0-5vdc.
P.S. I am unable to use a potentiometer before anyone suggests it.
Thanks in advance guys.
The product really is made to be used at 5V; 10V would burn it.
You can use a logic level converter. The ones we sell are all <5V however.
Not many products we have offer 0-10V analog input.
Would a Opamp work? Could anyone suggest one for me if it would work.
Possibly - you’ll need to do your homework, create and test a circuit.
You’re essentially trying to map 0-10V to 0-5V. If anything, can you simply restrict the output to 0-5V
