Speaker buzzes

Hi,
I’m just putting together my project. I wanted to hook up the Bot board with an Atom28 to my computer to program it. But when I attach a battery the speaker buzzes non-stop.

Any ideas what I did wrong? The pin seems to be shorted corectly?

There’s some other post somewhere on these forums concerning this.

I don’t have any experience with it myself, but I remember them saying that the speaker buzzing is just a default that stops the first time that you program your micro.

If it gets really annoying, just pull out the speaker’s jumper.

Thanks Nick, I think I figured that’s what it was. I’m having problems getting my computer to program it. But I should get it worked out.
