SPDT RC control

My son is building a tank/bot/plow. We have a lifting boom on it for attachments that we are moving with air cylinders and a 12v air valve (5 position 3-way). So the question is what do we need to provide power to the air valve. Sitting we need power to neither solenoid, then stick left ( Flysky FS-i6X 6-10 radio) one solenoid (up) and stick right the other solenoid (down). Alternative is to use the double through toggle, but I don’t think that will be as smooth and my son is better at managing two sticks at the same time. It steers tank style with the two sticks, so right stick left and right will be boom position and ultimately left will control tilting bucket.

Will the battleswitch work this way? I’m fine with the mechanical part of the build, but the R/C part is not in my normal wheelhouse.

Hi @6sigma and welcome to the forum
is your transmitter fully upgraded? IMHO 10 channel radio would have enough options to move the boom. (switches, potmeters, encoders)
If not, why not try a PS2-transmitter? They have plenty of options.
